Jagriti understands that ‘being educated means being informed and being empowered’. So it runs Adult Education Programs for poor and marginalized women to help them achieve basic literacy, basic life skill training and become aware of their rights.

Jagriti also provides free Skill Development Training on Arts & Craft works like Basket Making, Cards making, Embroidery & tailoring, Beautician training etc. to poor and needy women from urban slums and remote villages. So far Jagriti’s women empowerment program has reached around 600 poor, needy and marginalized women. This income generating skill development program of Jagriti enables poor and marginalized women to be capable of living a better life. Jagriti is running Adult Education and Skill Development Training Centers for women in two slum areas of Delhi, Bolangir District of Odisha and Balia District of Uttar Pradesh.
